Can't remember colors but tell me what you have and it may jog the memory. I did it last about 4 years ago.
But
S=Sense = from reference source of 12v, tells alt to charge.
L=Lamp = goes to alt warming lamp on dash.
IG=Ignition switched = from ignition only powered when key at on position (ie car running).
Use that as a guide and you could probably bypass the original wiring. My me mory of colors could also be clouded by the fact that I hybridised a MS55 with a MX73 harness while keeping both original 55 fuse box and 73's engine bay fuse/relay box and the crown had externally regulated alternator that had to be redone.
