Yes, I know it has 8 plugs, but both plugs fire almost at once...(Something like a few degree difference.) so I'd expect it to have a reluctor with 4 peaks and that the second spark is generated by the ignitor. (Which is the reason why the ignitor has 2 outlets, one to the coil; to get two sparks. And the other to the ignition signal of the ecu.) I'm just guessing all this.
Can anyone open the dizzy cap of a 3t-gte and look at the reluctor to see how many peaks it has....
I have a 3t-gteu wiring loom and all the stuff to it, except the distributor. (what a bummer.) I actually have quite a few looms, spare engines, and some complete manifolds.
