Pretty much as robbo said - I find it's fine if you fill it up, start the engine with the cap off, then after a couple of minutes keep pouring in while holding 2-3000rpm, then stick the cap on, go for a drive, and check the level again. Oh, and never take the cap off when the temp gauge is in the 'ready for Bushell's' position! Evil or Very Mad
