you see, only the twin turbo version came with 6 speed boxes. non-turbo's have 5 speed stock. so the G/B has been changed!
this still means the GB could have been thrashed in the old car, or the owner that put in the 6speed took advantage of the stronger 6 box and hence the fried clutch aswell, at 57,000km's its uncommon for any car to have worn clutches, let alone a Toyota, and a Supra at that!!!

Not entirely true: the '96 SZ-R had a six speed manual, it took me a long time to figure that out when trying to get a clutch replacement.
