I have Metal King plus's in my 323GTX (running on VR-4 rotors)
and they lasted a good 20mins on the track before starting to fade. I think the mazda weighs just over 1100kg so it's no lightweight.

And I have EBC greenstuff pads in my EVO, I haven't had it on the track but the brakes have stood up to some fairly spirited driving without any issues. I think they are harsh on rotors (they still lasted 3yrs and the pads are 1/2 worn), but at $60 each I'm not to bothered, and don't believe the "No dust" crap.
