AW11 MR2 compliance?

Hi all.
I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my 1988 AW11 MR2 G-limited SC from Japan. I was just wondering if anybody can give me some info on exactly what changes need to be made (and how to make them if it is difficult) for Queensland compliance? i have been told in general:
-child restraints
-side intrusion bars
-side mirror glass
-and possibly seat belts
Although since the MR2 does not have back seats are child restraints really necessary? Also wouldn't the car already have side intrusion bars? And im a little unsure about the other two aswell. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
