Fri, 21 October 2005 10:42 I've done some hunting recently, and the Gary Willmington car has definitely vanished from the scene. Spoke to Gary about it last week and even he cant find it. All my memories and recent discussions confirms they were under-developed as they were never considered an outright contender in GpA. They were far too heavy compared with other turbo cars like the Sierras or Skylines In GpA , minimal lightening was allowed, so if was built real heavy, thats what you got stuck with. Much as I like old Toyotas (and have 2 GP. A sprinters), my Cosworth Sierra would blow the doors off the best Supra ever built. The advice therefore, is do whatever you can to get out the weight.
