oh well, i dont have electronic ignition.. might try to get it later on but not at this stage (5k motors came with electronic ignition?) might have to go to a wreckers and find one. For now though, the gt40R will be fine. The only reason your stock KE10 coil lasted longer was becasue it wasnt a high performance coil (or you put the wrong one on or wired it up wrong) Yea idle mixture is ok.. high speed flap.. never heard of it.. is that just your secondary throttle plate? if so the secondary plate is opening at mega high rpm (we're talking 5500 on a 4k) For HEI, use a bosch GT40 not a resistor type one if you did. Bosch is one of the best parts suppliers i've come across.. and i work in an auto electrics shop.. their starters and alternators are a piece of piss - but also reliable. thanks, kane [Report message to a moderator]
