Well, i just installed that plate in the pic (not my pic, but its exactly what i did + gasket paper to make the seal) then just connected it to the engine again, no other changes.
It should be noted, my engine runs exactly the same as it did b4 i did the plate mod. However i am yet to install the ea falcon pulley to get my boost increase. But after i did the plate, and idle was exactly the same.
Hope someone else can shed more light on it, as yeah, im not much use, personally, id just try with the plate and not block the other bit, see what happens, only takes 5 min.
