Use the entire AE86 strut, disassemble it, put the KE35 strut tops on (as top bolts on 86 ones are smaller diameter), and you may need to either modify where the strut bolts to the steering arm and ball joint, or use one off an AE86. I put TE72 struts and brakes in my KE30, using the balljoint and steering arm from my old TE35 (which I think had TA22 steering arms...)
