Well, you have an NA 2.4L in there.
So if you want to get more torque, you'll be looking at 2.5L+
However, any of the cast iron 6's will be to heavy to put in that car, so that rules out 5MGE, 6MGE, 7MGE, 1JZGE, 2JZGE etc.
Easiest >2.4L would be the 1UZ 4.0L V8.
By no means bolt in, but definately fun.
Other options would be to convert a camry v6 (all alloy ones) to RWD and use that.
Don't expect much change from a hefty sum of money though.
