bayka Regular I Supported Toymods Location: perth Registered: September 2002	Re: blocking off ABV Tue, 25 October 2005 17:10 Hey man, definately vacuum hose leak as long as your sure the 2 seal points in the ABV mod are definately sealed. Aside from the thottle being slightly open (which its not), small hole somewhere after the throttle butterfly is the only thing that could cause higher idle in this situation. I had the same problem after i took off throttle body to change supercharger out. 2500rpm idle was exactly equal to one std ~5mm diameter vacuum hose open. Initially I missed another and the hoe was idling at +5000rpm, try searching for that in the engine bay while engines running...not fun -daniel- [Report message to a moderator]
