The only exception is 2JZ-GTE, its a Toyota designed head. Hence the popularity of building 1.5JZ's in Japan as the Yamaha 1JZ-GTE Head flows better up high.

This is a popular myth, as usual started by the yanks.  Both the 1JZ-GTE and 2JZ-GTE heads are designed by Yamaha, as are all performance-oriented Toyota cylinder heads. There is no significant difference in flow rates between them.
