I've done some work to my 18rg which is in a RA40 celica. I've put in a set of 413b cams form cAmtech. These have a duration of 290 degrees (238 at .o50" cam lift) and 430 " lift. These work well but when I ordered them I was after a bigger set. Something like this in a lighter Celica would work really well. With the other work done (balanced, match port work, heavy duty valve springs, extractors, 2in exhaust and rejeted solexes, increased compression to approx 9.5:1) it goes well. It keeps the VL 6cyl Commedore honest and is good for 200kmh with a 411 diff. Not much power until about 4 g up to 6.5 g. I'd look at putting a 2 1/4 in exhaust on but. Hope this helps.
