Add to all that info:
There were numerous models avaiable in the rest of the world.
Such as:
RA21s, RA22s. These had the R series motor I beleive RA22s had 21R motors.
TA23s have an engine crossmember and gearbox crossmember to suit the 2T/T50 combination, so cannot straight swap in an 18R/W50 combination.
TA28s, a 28 liftback body with the 2T-C motor.
The TA22 runs smaller front hubs and brakes than the RA23/28/40.
The Struts from the RA23/28/40 struts and brakes fit into the TA22.
etc etc.
