Or even better, a JZS147 (Aristo) which came with a 2JZ-GTE. Smile

Hehehe....yes or even a 2JZGTE (but shhhhhh, it's not really a Crown now is it? Very Happy )

Ah yes, the infamous boot fridge.....Very rare. Expect to hand over a lot of folding stuff if you want one. I have seen 2 in my life.....one in a beat up non running MS45 Deluxe that my mate paid some scary amount of money for (he usually demands money for removing these cars), and the other in an MS55 Super Deluxe in a wrecking yard here in Melbourne 15 years ago.
Most of the Crowns we got here (MS85 onwards) actually have an air purifier in the boot.
The early 80's Crowns (MS112) have the 5ME - it's OK but nothing startling. It's just a good utilitarian motor. Some easy zing could be had by installing a 7MGTE.
I believe rust is a bit of a problem with the mid 70's onwards Crowns - I'm stuck solidly at pre '67 Crowns so all this late model stuff gets me confused. I can't believe people call 80's cars old school!
