Thats a line they use when its not important enough of a crime. A friend of mine in the police force says its what they call "resourcing" they cant follow up every single thing, although they should. I got the exact same line when my car was stolen, yet I could see fingerprints clear as day on pieces of my interior they would have had to handle to rip out the $4000 stereo :/ [Report message to a moderator]
