Tue, 15 November 2005 07:37 a lot of people put off waxing and polishing after washing their car, and the result is dust, and a fine layer of dirt settling on the paint. When you get around to polishing you actually end grinding these little bits of dirt and dust into the paint. Hence the swirlies. Its almost impossible to avoid altogether with black paint due to its refractive properties, but a silicone polish like glide on glaze might be the go. [Report message to a moderator]
