Mon, 24 February 2003 05:14 you friggin BIG GIRL'S BLOUSES!! hehehe, seriously, yes the double counterweight crank is heavier than the single, but not by much. not much at all. never weighed them on scales, but to the hand, there's not THAT much in em. i mean, its all of 2 counterweights different (pistons 2 and 5), and if you look at where the counterweights 'would' go on the single counterweight model, its pretty beefy anyway. so not that huge an addition. that said, whilst norbie, you are a big girl for not being able to pick em up off the floor, they are very heavy GT - whats the milling worth? in ballpark terms?? Glen - the weight lost off the counterweight wont so much give you abs power, but will improve throttle response. that said, itll have less angular momentum, so the engine wont be as smooth, and will feel a little on/off... cheers ed [Report message to a moderator]
