hey, my clutch died on my 4age, so i pulled the engine out and found that as i pulled the gearbox off, pieces of metal fell out. On closer inspection the bearing that sits behind the flywheel was smashed to bits. So i ordered a new one, but i cant get the remaining bearing casing out. Iv been told I wont have to take the flywheel off to replace it. I have a few q's"
1) So how do i get the remainder out?
2) Why is it smashed in the first place?- shaft play?? gearbox incorrectly put on?
3) just after the clutch died and started slipping, the pedal went harder (to push in)- why is that?
