Im planning on doin this also but one thing i found that could go wrong and will probably find out later when i actually try to do it is that the longer shaft has a bracket that bolts up to the back of the engine block to hold it in place no to sure how im gonna fix this problem but find out later. Also people have mentioned that the ratios and gear set is not appropriate for na cars and will most likely loose power rather than gain i say have a go cos they said the exact same thing for my friends car when he put an ep82 starlet gearbox in a corolla 2 gp turbo and it worked sweet as.
