syncro Regular Location: ireland Registered: October 2004	Re: 98 mr2, no ignition key Sun, 04 December 2005 10:19 the key has a coded chip in it and the senser ring around the mr2 ign barrel reads the chip in the key and will imobilise the ecu unless you have the correct key. i dont plan on using the mr2 ignition at all, i want to tape the key on to the senser ring so the ecu is not imobilised [Report message to a moderator]
