the fittings aren't designed for full-flow engine oil - but it might work for a cooling setup that just drains to the sump (e.g. low pressure) if it sits at the right height.

if it were mine, i'd remove the cooler from the lower tank to increase the volume of cool water at the bottom of the radiator.
