That way it will still match the inside, sills, engine bay etc. Having had mine resprayed recently and only now just having the paint polished (1 month later) it was worth the extra effort of stripping everything off it and getting a good job done. If you don't want your car looking like a cheap taxi (Yellow Cabs are good at only spraying the outside of their cars) then i would either put the effort in to strip the car if you are going to change colours or respray the original colour (saves alot of time and effort). You could still put a pearl through the clear coats if you wanted. My car was that Sprinter shit red, i would never allow it to stay that colour, it is now white. [Report message to a moderator]
