Common Problems with AE82

Hey all!
I am looking to buy myself a sexy twinky, and I have a few questions I would appreciate being answered by any of you fine folk.
1. What are the common problems/faults with the car.
- I know about rust in the rear quaters.
2. Being an old car I realize that there will be certain wear and tear that will need fixing. Any suggestions, and how much these may cost?
3. Being 6"1' and a bit of a fat ass, how comfortable will one of these cars actually be? Will I be able to sit without my knees being under my chin?
4. What kind of fuel ecconmy can I expect frm the older engine?
( at the moment I am getting about 12 /100K from my sick 4AC, but I am using abot that in Oil too.
