I am looking to buy myself a sexy twinky, and I have a few questions I would appreciate being answered by any of you fine folk.
1. What are the common problems/faults with the car.
- I know about rust in the rear quaters.
Just minor rust thats easy to fix.
2. Being an old car I realize that there will be certain wear and tear that will need fixing. Any suggestions, and how much these may cost?
Check the chassis for ridgidy (spelling)
suspension front and rear if it hasnt been replace it would be soft and soggy ewwwww
Aircon see if its still got gas
3. Being 6"1' and a bit of a fat ass, how comfortable will one of these cars actually be? Will I be able to sit without my knees being under my chin?
Hmm you'll fit but depending on the steering wheel.. the chair can move back abit but youd squash the rear passenger =p
4. What kind of fuel ecconmy can I expect frm the older engine?
( at the moment I am getting about 12 /100K from my sick 4AC, but I am using abot that in Oil too.
hmmmm about 450-550kms pulp for full tank
depending on the conditon of the engine, its tuning and all

Also when you do a test drive.. see how the owner drives it. if he trashes the crap out of it every gear etc. and if he doesnt ask him to bring the revs up alittle higher to see if anything goes wrong top end.
