My mates had an 86\87 ST162 for 3 years now and the only problem he had was getting his AC regassed 
Oh and i think he cracked his rear axel, but that was more the fact that he 180'd it into a gutter going about 70 
...just asked him how its going now and he says he's had no real problems with her and that she's been a well behaved bitch while he's had her(exact words )
