this might sound really dumb, but it caught me off gaurd, and fucked with my mind for several hours today...
WHEN lowering your car and installing nice, stiff springs and shocks, be aware of your engine loom, and the condition/fitment of all of the loom plugs...
you may now be able to rail around corners at mach II, and you may not be personally concerned with the harsh ride quality you get on local streets, but when my engine just totally DIED on me today (like stoppped dead in a heartbeat) you are faced with one PITA job trying to troubleshoot the electrical system on the side of the road - trying to source the loom plug which didnt like the bumby ride.
seems the connection wasnt that great, and the harsh ride qulity just shook it into a position of no contact.
major PITA - worth a thought in the back of your mind i figured.
