ok im getting lazy here but
has anyone researched using 2tgeu pistons? im thinking theres got to be extra height either in the 3tgteu block or in the 2tgeu pistons and/or conrods to counter the extra stroke of the 3tgte???
to 'flycut' meaning mill the valve clearances deaper? i could do that but at the expense of strength? anyone tried it with success? the 3tgte pistons are weak as they are so those forgies sound like the answer! $$$
as to valve sizes i havn't got a clue, usually the n/a cams have more duration/lift which i would think would be more problem than actual valve diameter?? something i'll have to spend hours trying to research
ChuckLandwehr: do you know which specific 2tgeu/3tgteu you used for your hybrid? there are definite variations between early and late specs.
this project is for drift so im after low boost high compression style if possible so theres no off boost lag or low rpm turbo lag/ mid rpm boost surge found with larger turbo's. looking at an rb20det t25 bb turbo or s14/s15 t28 bb
