Mike Urbano seems to think there is something to do with the NSW input on the ECU which retards the ignition by 15 degrees. though i havent had chance to check it out yet.
Ive been doing a lot of searching today and found that the A342E has more in common with the A341E than the A340E, so now im following that route as well.
