Fri, 07 March 2003 06:26 Max - I'd also be questioning the reason why he didn't write you a ticket on the spot - Most likely is that he KNOWS he doesn't know WTF he's on about, but wants to take your details back to the cop-shop and find out from others if he CAN pin you for it or not. If you have his name or station, you should be able to go down there and ask them (in a polite manner of course) if you can find out what's going on with it. As for making a formal complaint against the guy in question... How much longer has your contract in Canberra been extended for? If you're planning on staying down there much longer, you probably wouldn't want to get the local coppers off-side [Report message to a moderator]
