I can't recommend these guys enough. I don't know about their mechanical stuff as I haven't had anything done there, but I do know that they do a lot of work on that side of things and they have their own dyno setup.
I and my friends have purchased parts from them on numerous occasions (gearboxes, half cuts, etc) and it's great to be able to say that I was happy on each occasion. The staff there (particularly John and Rod who I have dealt with) are quite knowledgeable and were very helpful on each occasion.
If you're serious (ie. don't waste their time) about buying an import engine/import parts then speak to the guys at Rolin Imports on the Gold Coast (www.japparts.com.au) and tell them that Leigh from Brisbane sent you their way - they'll be sure to look after you
