taking apart my mate's exa today, we found metal chunks and oil stuck to his sparks, which inspired me to have a glance at mine.

There was the expected oil residue (with the amount I burn), other than that, the tips were dry and covered in a grey/brown coloured residue, which was DAMN hard, very rough, and all over the tips.

any ideas what this tells me about my engine, and are they ok or should I buy new ones?
My engine still seems to run fine ... fine being a subjective term, with how mjuch smoke it blows
