Octane boosters CAN foul plugs - depends what you use and what plugs - e.g. lots of lead is death to platinum plugs.
Toluene is slightly harsh stuff, and makes up about 50% of acrylic thinners, but at about 10:1 shouldn't do any harm to anything from what I gather (ignore the RACV carrying on about it rotting fuel lines - I think that may well be garbage!)
