toluene.. i love this stuff, from what i believe it is what they add to normal unleaded to make premium unleaded, toluene contains no lead so is good for efi, in my car i would run 15-20% mix and it stopped my pinging(4agz bigger pulley cams etc..)thus it obviously worked, i did try all types of octane boosters but in the end found toluene to be the cheapest for a tank of fuel, ok so you have to pour it in in litres at a time but dont most of us have sacrifices we've made due to our cars?, after over a year my fuel lines are not stuffed so this is either yet to happen or its just here-say crap. octane is suppoedly 114 thus with simple maths, when using 98octane premium with 20% toluene new fuel octane should be...101.2 thats a boost of 31.2 points, most cheap octane boosters only raise octane by 10points, so yeah i use it and swear by it, but i'll let you be the judge.
