They make most of their money from extras they sell in the shop like oil, fluids, lollies, drinks etc.... If we simply avoided the BP petrol, it wouldn't make a rats arse of difference since their is little profit in it. Its the ASSOCIATED products that make the money. BP sell contracts to servo operators, servo operators use petrol to draw people then sell lollies etc (sir would u like to have 2 packs of extra for $1?) and then BP allows them to stock BP oils, fluids, parts etc..... this is where the big $$ are made in the petrol industry. I wish a simple boycott would work. But unfortunately it would ruin the livelihoods of many an independant servo operator. Poor people like us. [Report message to a moderator]
