The motor is originally sporty and hot as is, very little scope to hotup further. From a mate who replaced the 3SGE with a 3SGTE, this is a decent upgrade performance-wise. The big problem he faced, was because he only replaced the motor, and because it was still front-wheel drive was massive torque-steer under power. Possibly dangerous. So the better way to go is to replace the whole drive train and go 4 wheel drive..I notice a frontcut and backend for $3000 in parts listing. Add another grand+ for fuelling, exhaust...is it worth doing, compared to changeover price for an equivalent stocker? You decide and good luck! [Report message to a moderator]
