i should add...
did a quick bit of maths on the fractional opening SA of the throttle plates to look at how much of a difference there is at low angles and WOT etc etc...
basically, at low angles of throttle, the twin 57mm has 70% more open surface area than the original single 60mm. compare this to an 80mm single throttle body which has 90% more open SA at low angles compared to stock 60mm.
HOWEVER, at WOT, the twin 57mm setup has 80% greater open SA compared to stock single, and this is actually the SAME as a single 80mm.
so, basically, it'll still be a mild bitch for normal street driving, but nowhere near as bad as a single 80mm t/b, but at WOT it should flow number VERY similar to an 80mm - best of both worlds really. then theres the advantages of higher port speeds etc which im yet to look at too hard...
i really have to look harder into adapting a cammed throttle cable onto it i think
