Congrats on building a lambo! They're great. Are you going to Canberra this weekend for the italian cars meet? David White (white carbontech lambo) is going down, I was gonna go with him, but my water pump needs attention.

Nick usually knows his stuff. He made me a bellhousing to go to my box, but then I told him I had a R154 Supra Turbo box instead. He gracefully refuned my money.

Ended up getting a Dellhousing, which was 15mm short (no shit)! I had to make a spacer out of my old 7M bellhousing and get longer bolts. Dellow Automotive are not the nicest people in the world at all. Bunch of bastards.

As for the flywheel, I used my racing flywheel and twin plate clutch that came with the car. I got the ring-gear from the 1UZ's torque converter heat shrunk onto my flywheel, then got it ballanced. Cost me $200 from memory ($150 for drilling new holes and shrinking ringear, $50 for ballancing).

Another thing to note is that I used the spacer that came with the 1UZ's torque converter. Its got the 8 bolt holes in it, and is about 3mm thick. I had to use it so the bolts would bite long enough.

Dellow Automotive also do the thrust race and that sort of thing. It comes as a kit, but you can draw a line through bits you don't need (I didn't need flywheel, clutch, or a hole cut out of the bellhousing as the slave cylinder for my clutch is inside the bellhousing - no fork).

I thought the Carbontech replicas were using an Alfa gearbox? I know they use Supra tailshafts (diff to wheels).
