I have read up on the hybrid engines in the old forums, thats one of the places i found out info on using the 3t-gte crank, this on its own only takes the capacity out to 1.8L. But it does not appear that anyone has gone on to bore out the cylinders taking it to 2.0L. Most people say that you can bore it out to around 1995cc but the jacket is getting just too thin to feel comfortable enough to thrash around in.And as my aim is to build a streetable club racer this would be no good.i have also done lots of research relating to the pros and cons of the 2tg and the 4age it appears as though the 2tg is a much better base engine (for a ta22), and besides all this i want to keep it as original as possible. Well in appearance anyway! I was just sort of wondering if anyone else has done this and if the walls would be too thin after the bore and sleeve. Or if i should just be content with the 1800cc engine.
thanks blake Laughing
