My favorite (and easiest IMHO) is to get a slide hammer with a hook attachment and pull (by bashing) it out. The 'classic' way is to pack the space behind the spigot bearing with grease. Then fashion a rod that is exactly the same diameter as the inside of the bearing. Poke rod thru inside of bearing and bash with large hammer. The theory is that grease (being non compressible) will push the bearing out. Tried it once and it was a whole lot of fucking around to no avail. Other folk swear by it.
