i would go out and buy a cheap multimeter and it isn't that hard it gets a bit tricky when you don't know the wiring diagram for the stereo , but you can use a AA battery to figure out the speaker wires in the car it will make a scratching noise then all you have to do is find out the + and - its all common sense, what colour are the wires in the car and i may be able to figure it out for you
