yeah do the multimeter thing. Ill explain it a bit more. Connect the multimeter to a ground on the car (usually the black lead) make sure the keys are on the 'lock' position and check each wire with the other probe (usually red) until you have one that shows a voltage (between 12 and 13. this is the constant power wire (positive +) then put this wire aside and turn the keys to 'acc' now and check the wires as before for voltage. This is the accessory wire. if there is an illumination wire do the same with the car parker lights switched on. if you find one this is the 'illumination'wire.
Next for the speakers it will be obviousif they are aftermarket speakers in the parcel shelf etc but if they are factory use the battery trick and find which ones will make the speakers crackle. toyotas always use a striped wire for the negative speaker wire.
