After a lot of homework on the issue I have decided to go with a Hilux diff conversion. However....I am told that I should use a Hiace diff housing because it is shorter in length, is a 5 stud pattern and has smaller axel bearings which makes it a hell of a lot easier to put discs on it. Now my first question is if I get a Hiace diff, will a Hilux LSD center bolt straight in? 2nd question, what lenghts do Hiace diff's come in? will I get one 1370mm to fit under the TA22? 3RD question, Is it true that R31 skyline discs bolt on fairly easy with a bit of help with some steel plate?, or will commodore rear brakes be better?.. 4th Question, will I be able to keep my 14" dragway mags? Any input on this matter would be appreciated, I know it's probably been covered lots of times but I want something concrete. Thanks Benny [Report message to a moderator]
