Mon, 17 March 2003 13:25 dave im currently finishing off a boost controller that ive been working on for 6 months it works much better than the gated turbosmart (they actually leak) . Grant and Andrew have both been in my wifes Cressida and seen the results of the earlier versions and the latest one brings boost on even faster . If you want to come for a run up(near Maitland) .i can show you the difference i can even fit your existing controller to the cressida and let you feel the difference . The system i use holds the wastegate DEAD SHUT until full boost and the boost response is MUCH faster than factory check out the acceleration curve and this is in a Cressida weighing 1650kg with me in it email me if your keen celicamad@hotmail.com i forgot to add my new boost controller has an elecronic fuel controller(built in) than can lean mixtures off to around 12:1 and eliminates the boost cut [Updated on: Mon, 17 March 2003 13:27] [Report message to a moderator]
