I'd say a custom intake manifold is probably a good idea because the TVIS is pretty much garbage. The valves are already fairly large on those cars and it's a bit of a squeeze to make them much bigger.

I don't think you can use a Unichip with the standard factory ECU, you'd probably have to wire a whole new ECU in stand-alone.
