Necros Regular Location: Melbourne Registered: September 2002	Re: mini race with a charger Tue, 18 March 2003 23:33 From http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/rulesregulations/roundab outs.html When exiting a roundabout, whether you are turning left, right or even going straight ahead, you must always indicate a left turn just before you exit, unless it is not practical to do so. Thats just plain weird ;p Ok so it might be a courtesy thing, but if your meant to do it on the exit of a roundabout I.E. After the apex then whats the point?! Your so close to exiting the roundabout that if you indicate left on your straight exit it wont make any difference to some one traveling on the other side of the road. You have to slow down for a roundabout to be able to give way (prepare to stop) legally so.... I dont think we have that rule in victoria but doesnt left indicator for left turns and right indicator for right turns make enough sense? If you dont indicate then obviously your going straight! unless your a dedicated city taxi driver, apparently they dont need to indicate. [Report message to a moderator]
