that does help a bit, i'm not particularly worried about cost, just so long as the engine won't blow on me i'll be happy.It does sound as though it is safer only boreing it to 1800cc, if it is ok to take it up to 1940cc (keep it extra strong).Like i said before id prefer to keep it original looking, and turbo is a hassle anyway.
