justin has taken a more performance oriented look at things... a lot of that you dont need.
if the cressida is efi, no need to change the fuel pump or anything
3" exhaust is a good idea (since you'll need a new one anyways) and that will probably cost around $1200 for a 3" mandrel bent, with cat and muffler (more if you want a good cat and good muffler)
the half cut will come with a FMIC, which is good enough to start with
gearbox is where you will run into problems. it comes with an r154, which while indestructable is also heavy and difficult to fit to a cressy.
the w58 is the more usual option, though you have to find 2jz-ge flywheel, starter motor, etc to get this to work.
engineering... well in sydney, that'll cost you $450.. other states i have no idea.
