Thu, 20 March 2003 11:14 far better than a switch. i can give a turn dial that lets you controll anywhere in between for hot or cold days . a 1/2 turn can give you 5 psi and you can still have a flick switch to isolate it but also be able to use in cabin . so you can have the switch set to say 15 psi and have a pot next to that that allows you to modify the boost at any time total cost with switch $250 but your 0-100 time will not be as good as my latest system . why not just tune the car to run as well as possible at a reliable boost setting .for all the stuffing around you really gain very little by using less boost and you dont risk detonation under different load and temp condditons when your switching boost all the time thats part of the secret to keeping my wifes cressida so consistently quick i dont fiddle with the boost .ai set the boost at a high but safe level. i eliminate detonation under ALL load and temp conditions to make sure max power is achieved.
